Egyptian Minister of Culture, Dr Mohamed Saber Arab, yesterday, has announced that the ministry seeks setting up virtual cultural palaces and libraries through the internet.

The aim of the project is to allow residents of villages and remote areas to access the ministry’s services easily.

The project is to be organised with the co-operation of the Communication Ministry. It will represent a huge leap in the performance of the Egyptian cultural scene.

Arab also confirmed that Cairo is, and will stay forever, the centre of intellect and culture in the Arab world.
